Terms and Conditions

Booking a class

  • All group classes (including if you are on a subscription) must be booked through www.yogacourt.co.uk/book-online – no bookings through social media or email are accepted

  • 1-to-1’s and private classes are booked through email, where payment is also confirmed

  • Walk-ups are not accepted (i.e. turning up to a class without booking online)

  • Payment for classes is taken upon booking/confirmed upon booking (if on a subscription)

 

Cancellation

  • Please provide as much notice as possible if you’re unable to make a class, workshop or event.

  • Group classes cancelled within 12 hours of the advertised start time aren’t refunded, however provided you have let me know ahead of the start time, a class credit may be offered. This credit will need to be used within 4 weeks. If a student simply doesn’t turn up (no-show), no credit will be offered. Credits are at my sole discretion (Courtney). 

  • Please note class passes are typically valid for 3 months (please read T&Cs of your pass when purchasing). As above, if you have booked a class and then cancel ahead of the start time a class credit may be offered. Time validity on class passes will only be extended if Courtney at Yoga Court cancels classes due to annual leave. If you would like to pause or extend a class pass due to unforseen circumstances (eg illness or injury) than please contact Courtney on courtney.barrow@outlook.com to discuss this where it may be paused or extended at my sole discretion (Courtney).

  • Please contact me if you need to cancel via email at courtney.barrow@outlook.com or on the phone number provided in your booking confirmation

  • After reading this policy, if you feel like you’d like to discuss a refund or credit – please email me at courtney.barrow@outlook.com

 

Lateness

  • Please aim to arrive 5 minutes before class, but no more than 10 minutes before.

  • If you are running late please send me a text or whatsapp on the phone number provided at booking

  • When entering the class (whether in person or online) please do so quietly to minimise disruption to the wider group. If joining online please ensure you join muted.

 

Practising safely

It’s important that you feel confident to practise yoga safely, both in-person and online. Please read the class description before booking to ensure the class is right for you. As a rule, if you’re pregnant – please contact me before booking. If you’re unsure at all, please contact me before booking via courtney.barrow@outlook.com

 

When attending a class, retreat or workshop by Yoga Court, you agree to the following:

  1. That you are participating in the yoga classes or any other programmes offered by Yoga Court (Courtney) during which you will receive information and instruction about yoga, physical exercise or health. You recognise that exercise requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and you are fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

  2. You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with your GP prior to and regarding your participation in the yoga classes, health programmes, retreats or workshops offered by your instructor. You represent and warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition/s which would prevent your full participation in these yoga classes, health programmes, retreats or workshops.

  3. If you are pregnant you understand that you participate fully at your own risk and that of your unborn child.

  4. You will work within your own limits, and will cease a movement if you experience any pain or unreasonable discomfort

  5. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the yoga classes, programmes, retreats or workshops, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or programmes offered by your instructor or substitute teacher.

  6. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the yoga classes, health programmes, retreats or workshops, you knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim you may have against your instructor or substitute teacher for injury or damages that you may sustain as a result of participating in these programmes.

  7. You hereby take full and sole responsibility from any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with yoga classes or any other events.

You have read the above release and waiver of liability and full understand it’s contents. You voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above under your own free will. By booking into any Yoga Court classes or accessing online material, you hereby agree to the terms and conditions above.

Upon booking any of my services you are confirming you indicate acceptance of my waiver.
